The StreamShark video player is compatible with browsers supporting MSE and 'video/MP4' inputs.
It is supported on:
- Chrome for Android 34+
- Chrome for Desktop 34+
- Firefox for Android 41+
- Firefox for Desktop 42+ (Windows 8+)
- IE11+ for Windows 8.1+
- Edge for Windows 10+
- Opera for Desktop
- Vivaldi for Desktop
- Safari for Mac 8+ (beta)
- Safari for iPhone
2.0 - Support when SSO, Viewer Management or Privacy Profiles are used
For StreamShark Events where a protection mechanism is used, such as Single Sign On, Viewer Management or Privacy Profiles, the StreamShark HTML5 video player is compatible with the following browsers:
- Chrome for Android 34+
- Chrome for Desktop 34+
- Firefox for Android 41+
- Firefox for Desktop 42+ (Windows 8+)
- Edge for Windows 10+
If the player embedded in a 3rd party customer (i.e. not StreamShark) website, the following browsers are only supported if "Prevent Cross-Site Tracking" is unchecked in their device or browser settings.
- Safari for Mac 8-13
- Safari for iOS 8-13
- Incognito Mode for Chrome for Desktop 34+
- Incognito Mode for Chrome for Android 34+
Chrome Incognito:
Make sure the 'block third-party cookies' toggle is disabled.
Safari Desktop:
Make sure the 'Website tracking' toggle is unchecked.
Safari iOS:
Make sure 'Prevent Cross-Site Tracking' toggle is disabled.
